Colonization[Feb 13, 2009]
Before you can start spreading the seeds of your empire throughout the galaxy and beyond, you must have a “primary colonial ship”. These can be constructed in a Level 1 Shipyard
Colonizing
Click your territory (marked with a purple flag) in the “Galaxy” interface. Remember to carry enough supplies in your colonial ship. View the planetary data and choose a suitable planet as your colonization target. You can colonize planets which have not been marked with a flag. If there is a flag on a planet, it means that this planet has already been colonized by another faction. After you arrive in your territory, you can also jump to the lifeless galaxy (the white one) and continue your colonization there.
If someone has colonized the planet before you, you can jump to other planets.
After colonization is complete, the Commander will automatically stand by, awaiting further orders.
Number of planets you can colonize
This number is limited by Science, and the upper limit is 15 planets at most. Nobody is able to capture planets which have abundant deposits of outstanding materials through large-scale colonization.
When your Colonization Science is level 0, you are unable to colonize any planet outside of your home.
