A PvP Arena Coming[Jul 3, 2009]

It can be rough out in the loneliness of space. With no one but the computer to talk to, there's bound to be some commanders with a few screws loose. Now they have a place where they can go nuts against the best fleets in the Universe. We’re introducing a new PvP arena that will let players vent their aggressions in a duel and settle arguments without resorting to world chat flaming. Tired of solo combat in instances or arguing about who might be the best? Well, prove it in the Galaxy Online Arena!Invite a friend or rival and find out just how good you really are.

Take your fleet strategy to a whole new level, matching wits against live competition without fear of losing your precious assets. That's right: arena PvP will incur no losses, bragging rights excepted! You can invite anyone to a duel, so it will be up to you to decide if you’re up for the challenge.

Now in the final phase of testing, the PvP arena promises out-of-this-world fun for Galaxy Online players. For the latest info about the arena, stay tuned to our official website.

Duel Rules:

1. To send a duel invite, move your fleets into the Arena first. While you are waiting for a response to the invite, you cannot move anymore fleets into the Arena.

2.There is a 3-minute period for the player to accept your duel invite and prepare for the duel. Once this time is up, the duel invite will expire. During a duel, if either side leaves the Arena, the duel will end and both players' fleets will be sent back to their respective home galaxy.

3. Players can accept or decline a duel invite. Dueling in the Arena will not cause any loss of ships or resources. If you don't wish to receive duel invites, you can choose to block duel invites.

 4. There is no faction limit for dueling in the Arena.
